I did manage to work in a few backcountry skiing days early on in the month that were downright sweet! One item that I've been using this year and that I will soon be writing a review about to be posted on <a href="http://www.feedthehabit.com">FeedtheHabit.com</a> is the <a href="http://www.indigoequipment.com/index.cfm">Indigo Elvn</a> <span style="font-style:italic;">pronounced: eleven</span>. <br /><br />This newly redesigned pack (the first version absolutely stank) has been a great ski touring pack. I dig it's narrow fit with a great shovel blade pocket that has the shovel blade upside down and fit in a "clam shell" design pocket. The unique ski carry system is quick and easy to use, but doesn't snug the skis down like other packs I've used. Better the cornice get caught in a slide than you.
